Nail art fimo clay canes

Fimo nail art clay canes are the latest revolution in nail art, and there are plenty of reasons why, fimo canes are simple quick and easy to use, but most of all they are extremely cost efficient.

At a small cost of £0.95 per 2.5 inch cane you can get literally 100's of slices.

The fimo cane is extremely versatile and can be set into gel or acrylic applications, and even be added to natural nails with the use of a high quality Top coat. Along with over 90 different nail art canes, we also do a range of 3D nail art fimo products, from 3D flowers to seasonal enhancements, these fimo shapes add depth to you designs.

Slicing!

How ever you are intending to use your nail art canes, the first step will always be the same, the canes need to be sliced very thinly, they are many ways this can be done. I personally use a very Sharp craft scalpel, other people use a razor blade ( if you can get a one sided blade this helps with keeping a universal thickness) or even a matchstick cutter. It is down to personal preference really, the more you practice the better you will get at slicing the canes and it does after a while become extremely easy.

Why do you not sell sliced canes?

We have been asked on several occasions about selling pre-sliced canes, but the canes that you buy pre-sliced are sliced by machine and are nearly always to thick, Also you pay a lot more for them, so in the long run they are really not worth the buy.

How to use on natural nails.

Fimo canes are simple and easy to use on natural nails

1. Paint your nails with 2 coats of your chosen polish ( we recommend Orly)
2. Paint a layer of top coat ( we recommend Orly glosser) and place on your desired cane slices.
3. Paint over the slices with a further 2 layers of topcoat and allow to dry fully.
4. Admire you fabulous work.

We advise you add another layer of topcoat every few days to keep the design smooth.

How to use with gels and acrylic nail enhancements

1. Prep as usual and apply your first 1-2 layers of gel or acrylic.
2. Add the sliced fimo canes to the desired location on the nail.
3. Add your final layer of gel or acrylic and finish as usual.
4. Admire your finished nails.

To keep you fabulous designs looking great add an extra layer of top coat every couple of days.

How do they work?

Quite simply follow the six steps bellow to achieve this fantastic highly detailed nail art look.

1. Paint your nails with 2 coats of your favourite polish ( we recommend Orly).
2. Decide on the water decal design you wish to use, and cut out from the decal sheet.
3. Place a few drops of water onto the backing of the decal and wait for approximately 30 seconds for the design to slide of the backing (hint: if it does not slide of easily add another drop of water and wait a few more seconds)
4. Using your finger, an orange wood stick or tweezers (personal preference) slide the design off of the backing and into place on the nail add a drop of water to the nail the slice the decal around until it is in place.
5. Dry off any excess water and finish with 2 coats of your favourite top coat ( we recommend Orly glosser)
6. Finally admire your fabulous professional finished nail art designs.

1. Stickers make life easy, simply paint your nails with 2 coats of your favourite polish (we recommend Orly. of course) , let your polish dry completely.
2. Choose the stickers you want to use and plan out your design.
3. Peel the stickers carefully off the backing, either using a orange wood stick, tweezers or similar tool (totally up to your personal preference)
4. Place the stickers onto the nails in the desired place and push down firmly.
5. Seal your perfect design with two layers of top coat(any will do whichever is your favourite we suggest Orly glosser).
6. The most important stage of all, sit back, and admire your fantastic work.
